2022 is in full swing and we are really excited to share our plans with you. Be it new products hitting the shelves, a new mystery drinks subscription and some exciting events and tastings. So have a read of this week’s blog to discover more about what we have cooking!
First up is our candlelit Valentine’s Day Gin and Chocolate tasting! This is something we are really excited about! Not only will you be tasting a range of gins that have a romantic, and sometimes a little saucy connotations of the fruit and botanicals used in production. For the chocolate element, we are teaming up with local artisan producer Wnder; their chocolate will be perfectly paired with each gin while we will explore how it’s made and the aphrodisiac effects!

This month also sees the launch of our new subscription service! We at SplitsDrinks are passionate about the products we offer and there is nothing we like more than discovering an exciting new tipple, maybe it will be gin with an array of weird and wonderful botanicals, a deep and seductive aged rum, a brand new vodka, the best tequila for your margarita or might we turn your head with a whiskey. This is the passion we want to share with you to help you discover your favourite new tipple.
Each month we shall select our favourite spirit of the month but you won’t find out what it is until it lands on your doorstep. How exciting! On the other hand if you are a rum fan then we are still running our monthly rum subscription.

Following on that theme you rum fans are in for a treat as Friday 4th March sees our first in-person rum tasting! We will discover more about this wonderful spirit and reason for its renaissance. Together we will learn more about the rich history of the spirit, its checkered past and how it has evolved over time.
After an arrival cocktail we will explore the various styles of rum that are produced. From the light clean flavors of white rum, how aged rums are produced, to the explosion of spiced rum and the introduction of the flavored rum.
The evening will include a cocktail, four double rums perfectly paired with mixers and garnish along with a grazing platter. Book now to secure your tickets!
Not only do we love a tipple, but also have a passion for VWs, it's how we started after all! After a great success last year Dubs at Middleton Hall is back on 28th August 2022! This VW festival will showcase a wonderful selection of handpicked dubs including T6, T5, T4, T3, bay windows, splitscreens, beetles, caddy’s, golfs (basically anything with a VW badge!).
Alongside some of the best VWs in Warwickshire and Staffordshire there will be a trade village where you discover craft beers, spirits and cocktails (supplied by yours truly), street food and speciality coffee! You can also expect live music and entertainment for all!
